An adventure with relaxation in the house of Aventuras del Sur, on the Costa de la Luz, in a small rural town called Betis, in Cádiz, Tarifa, in a Natural Park of Andalusia; El Estrecho, (Just 10 minutes by car from Bolonia beach and 5 minutes from Valdevaqueros beach).

If you love horses and yoga, come and spend your week with Aventuras del Sur, in a family farm, which offers yoga retreats and horse riding and yoga holidays in Andalusia, Cádiz, Tarifa.

You can have tasty Mediterranean meals (you can ask for vegetarian, maybe it's possible for Victoria too, she cooks traditional, and she tries her best to make you happy also at meals time, consider that she is traditional cooker, and with patient she tries to adapt for the different persons, but many different meals will make her week more difficult for her, so just decide variety or vegetarian, please).

Tips for free time: Relax at the garden, or in the apartment terraces, make new friends, a good book, a walk around the farm, a visit to Tarifa, a good conversation, relax at the yoga hall, help Paco with the horses task if you like!, sit on the beach and see how they break the waves and enjoy the pure silence and the nature of the place…

 One day with us:

Begin your day with an optional nourishing meditation and end with a good session of stretching, restorative yoga, hatha yoga or yin yoga.
Step out at the terrace, breathe in the fresh air, let your eyes wander over the rocky hill to the silvery sea, sparkling in the morning sun, and just listen to the silence.

Then, you enjoy your breakfast and prepare for an adventurous horseback ride on the free-living horses of Aventuras del Sur guided by the expert and horse owner Paco, who has more than 60 years of experience in that region (We were born here, so we know each place) .

Discover the tranquility that you will feel while riding horse through the wild nature of the mountains or galloping along the beach on the back of your horse. For everyone who has ever ridden a horse, this experience is unforgettable.

You have free afternoons to simply relax in the garden, read, chat, or go visit the vibrant city of Tarifa or watch the sunset from a beach bar in Valdevaqueros or Bolonia. For all who come here, Aventuras del Sur offers an experience of profound beauty, human warmth, and down-to-earth family life. Group size will be no more than 10 visitors, normally, most of the weeks, 4,5,6,7,8. 

The practice of yoga and meditation will help you recover your body after horseback riding, and they will also help you find calm. Soul, mind and body will be refreshed and full of energy after the week. The yoga classes will make you feel full of well-being, restoring the body for the next ride! ITINERARY:

Day 1; SUNDAY: Arrival (Sunday from 3:00 p.m., before 10:00 p.m.). *Welcome dinner included for the group meeting. I recommend taking advantage of Sunday to stop in Tarifa, maybe see the point where the Mediterranean and the Atlantic meet OR come home and rest until the group arrives and we have dinner together.

Day 2-6; MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY FRIDAY:

     07:30 (Optional meditation if you are interested).

     08:00 Breakfast.

     09:00 Adventure on horseback, *(spring summer season time, when temperatures are higher, from October we can change Yoga before breakfast, and start riding later, at 10am).

     13:30 Yoga session. 1:30 a.m. until 3pm. (Restorative yoga or maybe more active, since the energy of the group is felt after riding).

     3:00 p.m. Lunch; (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) / 8:00 p.m. Dinner time, (Sunday, Wednesday, Friday); 

Half board included, *We will test in 2022 a new meal schedule in 2022. We have noticed that visitors like lunch more after riding, so Victoria will prepare 3 dinners and 3 lunches. (Many people prefer lunch, as the great food, to eat less or something lighter at dinner time, also to have more time to watch the sunset, go to the beach, swim, visit Vejer and Tarifa in the afternoon, without time to return for dinner.

A hire car is needed to move in the area. We have a chat group on whats app, to share the hire cars and expenses, here is a Natural Park, there is no public transport (only in Tarifa there are buses, but we are 15 minutes driving from Tarifa bus station).

 

*Daily program of horseback riding: Every day a new adventure and new places to discover. (Route of the brave bulls, the lighthouse, Camarinal, Cañuelo, Punta Paloma, Valdevaqueros, Los Alemanes beach...)

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED:

 

-TRANSPORTATION, TRANSFER FROM AIRPORT: Happy to help if you need recommendations.

 

-MÁLAGA: share a rental car with other participants, please send me your whats app number with country code when you make the reservation. (You can also come by bus airport - Algeciras, Algeciras- Tarifa). I strongly recommend renting a car and sharing the expenses.

 

-GIBRALTAR: Take a taxi, just cross the border to La Linea (5 minute walk), and you have the taxis (around €60 to Aventuras del Sur). Or take a bus, better option: Rent a car with other participants and share the cost.

 

-JEREZ AIRPORT: Bus to Cádiz, Cádiz- Tarifa. Or rent a car. (The taxi is expensive, around €130 each way).
